Meeting Savannah Gayle DeHaan

At the end of September I was blessed with the opportunity to fly to Boseman, Montana to visit my best friend Christine, and to meet her sweet baby Girl Savannah Gayle!

Savannah was born August 19th 2010

She was about 6 weeks when I met her! She is so perfect and precious! It was so great to see Christine and her husband Jason in this new chapter of their lives! Parenthood! They are already excellent parents! Christine is such a natural Mommy! Savannah is so blessed to have parents like them. I will let the picture tell about my trip!

Happy Birthday Daddy and Janna Rose

Joshua and Janna share the same Birthday! It is such a special day. Here is what we did on their actual Birthday! It was a fun filled beautiful day!

We started the tradition of decorating their door ways their Birthday Morning. Here is Janna walking out of her room after she woke up! Good morning Birthday girl!

We spent the morning with our friends Melissa, Shaheen and their son Lincoln. We went to Pudding stone to feed the ducks all the left over crust from the sandwiches from Janna's Party. It was pretty warm out, but the kids had a blast!

On our way back to the car we saw this red tail Hawk. It had just captured a squarel to eat. It was very close. It was very exciting!

In the afternoon we had Daddys Favorite German Chocolate Birthday Cake.

In the evening we went to the Dodger game.

We got upgraded seats!

Turning 2 Under the sea

Our Sweet Janna Rose turned two back in August.
We chose to have a Under the Sea birthday party. She really loves all kinds of animals, but she is especially fond of fish! She loves Fish crackers, loves Nemo, and loves to look at sea animals in books. Also one of her favorite words to say is "Bubbles". When she says this it can mean a whole lot of different things. It is the word she uses for actual bubbles. But it is also the word she uses for Flowers, water, ocean, puddles, and anything else she does not know.

We had her party at a local park that had a splash pad. We invited all her favorite buddies, and they all splashed around and had a great time. We also made Sea animal sun catchers, ate yummy lunch, and had yummy cupcakes.

It was a beautiful day spent with great friends and family celebrating Janna.

Janna turns 2 - Photo Shoot

I am so blessed with a husband who can take pictures and does a pretty good job. We recently got a new SLR digital camera for our anniversary, and we are trying to get more shots outside, instead of going to a studio. Joshua is learning more and more about the camera and different lighting and settings. I think he is doing a great job. Here are some of my favorite shots he got of Janna. As a family we went to Dalton canyon to do a little photo shoot of Janna. Janna is getting a little more comfortable with the camera, but most times gives us a pretty hard time and purposely looks the other way. Enjoy!

We also got a few of or others kiddos..we could not resist!

J's 1st year of Tball

J had a great season of T-ball! He was on the Marlins. He truly loved it! He would usually hit a line drive off the tee, and run with everything he had to make is around the bases. Most of the times he stopped those ground balls. He would throw it to first base with all his might. We are so proud of our little athlete! We can not wait till next year!
