Back in July we went to the most amazing place! TWIN LAKES! I have not had the opportunity to sit down and catch up on our blog! This is one of those Blogs I really wish I wrote right away all the memories, visions, and emotions were fresh in my mind. But really when I think about it they still are! My best friend Melissa as gone to Twin Lakes all of her life. She has come back and shared many stories. I really had no idea until I went. Our Family camped there with her and her family for 5 days. Those days went by so very fast, and we could of spent a whole month there. It was so nice to be away outdoors in Gods Beautiful creation. Honestly I had this overwhelming sense of peace and Joy while I was there. Joshua also really loved it, and we have decided that would really like it to become a family tradition for us and out family! The kids did great! They were able to explore and roam. When we were leaving to come home, I found myself tearing up. I did not want to leave. Usually when I am on vacation I have this desire to get home to my shower and my bed...But nope not this time. In fact it was the opposite, nothing in me wanted to go, everything in me wanted to stay! Oh how I can not wait to get back there! Enjoy the pictures! We had a blast!

Freedom and Fireworks
The kids really enjoyed the fire works this year! Janna especially She kept saying " Wow, Wow Mommy Wow". It was so fun to hear her excitement. Jadyn stayed awake for the whole Show. I was very surprised, the other two never stayed awake for it when they were her age. She just looked in amazement. We sure missed Daddy as he had to work this year.

Summer Swim Time
This was Janna's first summer of Swim Lessons. We put her in the Parent Child class. Joshua and I switched off everyday. She is very comfortable in the pool. She kicks, and can blow bubbles. She likes to jump off the wall, and does not really mind going under a little bit.
Joshua Wayne did well in Level 1. He really likes that the pool is only 2.5 feet deep. He is improving with skill and technique. Something he is really excited about is that he can go under and get a dive ring. They both really enjoyed their swim lessons.

Hike to Hermit Falls
We love to Hike! On Tuesday we hiked to Hermit Falls. We met up with one of Joshua's co workers and his family. It was nice to get to know them, and to experience the beautiful outdoors together. They do not hike often, but I hope that it was a good experience and that they would join us again! This Hike was down hill in and up hill out...that makes is a little more difficult. It was to a man made falls, with a nice water hole. Joshua is crazy and he jumped from the top of the falls into the water hole.

My Sweet Artist
Summer Reading Program
Joshua and I really enjoy bringing the kids to the Glendora Library on Thursdays for Story time. The kids love all the songs, hand motions, stories, and rhymes! They also love to pick books to bring home. The past week we signed up for the summer reading program. They are so excited to read, read, read! They get prices for reading or for being read too!
Here are pictures of them, they are excited about all the books they picked!

Nice and Tidy or a Big huge mess?
When I am having a hard time ..................
I picture myself relaxing on the Beach in Pismo! My favorite place to be!
I picture myself relaxing on the Beach in Pismo! My favorite place to be!

A hard week! Last week we had sickness in our house. For J it was 7 days of a high fever! He was waking up at night, and during the day while he was awake he was pretty out of sorts, and very cranky! It was like I had a different child. Because of this I was one tired exhausted mommy. I felt drained from my head to my toes at most every moment of the day. My days were spent taking temperatures, giving Motrin, giving cool baths, and lots of snuggling. My house became a huge mess, and the orderly house I try to run went out the door. I spent the whole next week playing catch up! I felt like I was so behind. It reminded me of how important it is to stay on top of daily things!
As I was reflecting with God this morning...I was thinking about this! I was thinking about how Gods love is unconditional and no matter if our relationship with him is neat and tidy or a big huge mess, he still loves us! He loves us no matter! All the time! I am so glad that he gives Grace! I know I am not worthy of it, but I do need it most days! With this said...I also know that when my relationship with him is messy Satan has much a much easier time getting my attention. My mind starts to doubt myself, my identity, my ability to be a good wife and mom. Satan does a great job of putting lies into my head. It is when my relationship with God is neat and tidy, I am confident in who I am. I take pride in that fact that he created me exactly how I am for a reason and a purpose. I am positive that he has me in this place and time for a reason.
Even if my house falls behind and becomes a big huge mess, I do not want to allow my relationship with God to do the same. He Loves me unconditionally, and on my Priority List my he is number one!

Beach Day with the Grable Family
Corona Del mar! It was a fun relaxing day at the beach. All the kiddos played very nicely, and they all kept themselves busy. They loved it! It was so nice to be at the Beach with the Grables! I am pretty sure it was the first time we were all able to get together! Usually most times Joshua and Jeff s schedules are opposite, but Jeff is off for the summer. I look forward to many more summer time hang outs! Next time with more sun block. I think we all got a bit too much color!
