I Love Easter! It is my favorite Holiday. This year it was extra special because Joshua Wayne our son was really starting to get it! A few weeks before Easter we were shopping at Sams Club, and Sams Club had a picture spot for the Easter bunny. While we were Checkng out I noticed the Easter bunny was not there he must of been on a break. As we start to walk out, we see the Easter Bunny walking (a man) and he is holding his bunny head in his hand. My thoughts were Ohhh Nooo! I watched J as he watched the Easter bunny, he had kind of a confused face on. I said nothing and he said nothing. Then we went about our day! That following day we went to the City Egg hunt. The kids were so excited. On the way J asked "Mommy will the Easter Bunny be there?" My reply . "Yes buddy..You can take a picture with the Easter Bunny if you want!". He said, " Ok Mommy, but the Easter Bunny is a man, but that ok really Easter is to celebrate Jesus cause He died on the Cross for our sins, and now he lives in Heaven..right Mommy?" My heart just melt! I responded "Yes buddy, you sure are right!" He gets it! As a three year old he gets it!

My friend Amy invited us over on good Friday to do a fun creative activity for Good Friday! She has three boys, and then I have my three and we lined them all up in her kitchen for a little Good Friday hands on bible Lesson! We made Resurrection Rolls! You take a Marshmallow (Jesus), cover him with Spices (cinnamon and sugar), put him in the Tomb (Cresent rolls), put them in the oven, and then the tomb is empty. The mallow disappears! And they are a tasty treat!
